Charlotte Hansen at CNYCentral reports Syracuse teenagers spent weeks over the Summer training and learning construction skills by building a series of huts with the Pathways to Apprenticeship Program - a joint effort between the Central and Northern New York Building Trades Council and Syracuse Build. The Program taught participants skills needed to become Electricians, Carpenters and Construction Workers - as well as join Union-sponsored Registered Apprenticeships. For some of the students involved in the program, it opened doors for future job opportunities in the Construction Industry.
