National Nurses United’s ‘Red Alert: Save Our Hospitals’ Bus Tour: Nurses ‘Across The Country Are Coming Out & Speaking Up To Protect Our Communities From Federal Health Care Cuts’

President Donald Trump and Republicans in the House and Senate have slashed Affordable Care Act (ACA) subsidies and gutted Health Care Programs like Medicaid, all to fund billionaire tax breaks and ICE terror. This has left more than 400 Hospitals at risk of service cuts or closure, threatening vulnerable patients and communities. But Nurses, patients and their allies are fighting back! The National Nurses United (NNU) has launched a national Red Alert: Save Our Hospitals Bus Tour to build the community power necessary to reverse health care cuts, protect our lifesaving hospitals, and create a future that works for everyone, with Medicare for All and more. Nurses, patients, and allies are making their demands public, holding Elected Officials accountable for protecting public health over corporate or political interests. The Red Alert tour is stopping in communities across the country in 2026 and beyond to host family-friendly events where everyone who is concerned can make their demands heard. The NNU encourages all to join the movement at a tour stop near you and by signing NNU-represented Nurses’ Vision for a Healthy Society petition to hold Elected Officials accountable for protecting the people’s health, not billionaires’ wealth.
