David White, Former National Executive Director & Chief Negotiator Of The Screen Actors Guild, Named By The National Football Leage Players Association As The Union’s Interim Executive Director
The National Football League Association Player’s Association (NFLPA) has announced David White has been elected to serve as the Union’s Interim Executive Director. "I am grateful to the NFLPA’s Player Leadership for entrusting me with the privilege and responsibility to guide their Union as Interim Executive Director. It's a duty I do not take lightly and I’m committed to reestablishing trust and ensuring the Union is serving its Members best. I look forward to working with the entire NFLPA Team to protect Players’ health and safety, secure their financial well-being and further strengthen their voice to shape their futures." White is a seasoned Labor Executive, board leader, proven negotiator and strategic advisor who has guided some of the most prominent entertainment and financial organizations in the world. White is the former National Executive Director and Chief Negotiator of Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA), the world’s largest Entertainment and Media Union. White led SAG-AFTRA through a period of intense industry change. Originally appointed as Interim Executive Director during a time of organizational instability, he was later named permanent Executive Director and Chief Negotiator by the Union’s National Board. During his tenure, White stabilized operations, achieved a landmark merger with AFTRA, and modernized the Union to adapt to a rapidly shifting media landscape.
