United Food & Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 150 has announced on Social Media that its  Negotiating Committee and representatives from Tops Friendly Markets have reached a tentative contract agreement, which the UFCW said ensures solidified retirement contributions, improved health care benefits and guaranteed wage increases that Local 1500 Members will be proud of. A
ratification vote is scheduled for July 8th, Union Officials said. More information on the contract will be released following that vote, they added. With more than17,000 Members, Local 1500 is one of the largest Locals in the UFCW and the largest in New York State. The Union represents Members who work in Queens, Staten Island, Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties.
