Registered Nurses At Albany Medical Center ‘Go Union,’ Join NYSNA

Registered Nurses employed at Albany Medical Center have voted to join The New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA). Nurses had demanded: A voice in staffing decisions to guarantee enough Nurses are on hand to give every patient the care they need and deserve; A fair wage; A fair benefit plan that will help recruit and retain the best of the best; and A fair retirement package. NYSNA - which represents more than 42,000 Members across New York State, is New York’s largest Union and Professional Association for Registered Nurses.
