(DALLAS, TEXAS) – Route Service Representatives employed at Vestis have voted to join Teamsters Local 745, marking the Local’s first organizing win in the Laundry Industry in nearly 20 years.

Workers voted for representation to improve pay, working conditions and job security.

“Most of us have bent over backwards for this company to make it successful. We deserve to be paid and treated fairly,” Organizing Committee Member Jeff Hinestorsa said. “We really needed to make a change and the Teamsters are that change.”

Brent Taylor, who serves as Secretary-Treasurer of Local 745 and as Southern Region International Vice President, said: “This organizing victory will open doors for more Workers in the Laundry Industry to recognize their collective power, inspiring them to stand together and demand better wages, benefits and working conditions. This win sends a clear message that when Workers unite under the Teamsters banner, real change is possible.”

Teamsters Local 745 represents Workers in a wide variety of industries throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area and the surrounding communities.
