Haley Daugherty at The Trib Live in Tarentum, Pennsylvania reports the United Steelworkers (USW) and ATI have reached a tentative contract agreement, which the Union texted to its Membership Tuesday (April 15th) evening. ATI confirmed it was a six-year agreement. The former contract, which the USW and ATI continued to operate under, had expired on February 28th, but was extended through April 30th while negotiations continued. Members of USW voted the last tentative agreement down in March. The new contract would impact 1,000 Workers employed at ATI Mills and Operations in the State of Pennsylvania at Harrison, Vandergrift, Latrobe and Washington; and in Lockport, New York. Union Members previously told TribLive it was time for wages to get back on track with industry standards.
