State Of Wisconsin’s Apprenticeship Program ‘Reaches New Enrollment Record In Its 112-Year History’

Katie Castellano at Madison WMTV reports Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, along with the State’s Department of Workforce Development, announced Wisconsin’s Apprenticeship Program has reached a new record for enrollment. More than 17,000 people are enrolled, which is a record high in the 112-year history of the program. The Badger State has more than 200 Apprenticeship occupations with over 2,600 employers. “We’ve worked hard to expand Apprenticeship pathways, reduce barriers to work and bolster our workforce as we continue our efforts to ensure Wisconsin’s workforce and our economy are ready to meet the demands of the (21st) Century,” Governor Evers said. “This record-breaking year is a testament to these important efforts and we are going to keep working to ensure we maintain our momentum.”
