More Than 10,000 Unionists ‘March To Stop The Cuts’ In New York City

The New York City AFL-CIO Central Labor Council, along with more than 50 Unions and community groups participated in a March To Stop The Cuts to vital government programs and the Federal workforce. Thousands of New Yorkers came together in response to President Trump, Congressional Republicans and unelected billionaire Elon Musk joining together to fire Federal Workers and threatening up to $2 trillion in cuts to health care, public education and other social services, all in order to fund a massive tax giveaway to the wealthy and corporations. The march began with a rally in Foley Square and then moved down Broadway past Wall Street’s Charging Bull toward Battery Park.
