The New York City AFL-CIO Central Labor Council and LaborArts proudly unveiled a new photo exhibit at the Labor Council's Manhattan office entitled New York City Works: Jobs, Advocacy, Action. The permanent exhibit showcases the City’s vibrant history as a true Union Town, reflecting the pivotal role Workers and Labor Unions have played in shaping New York City. LaborArts embraced the challenge of curating a compelling photo exhibit for the walls of the Labor Council’s Office. The exhibit features 18 photographs and captions that showcase the New York City Labor Movement’s enduring culture of solidarity.  Visitors can also explore the exhibit on-line at LaborArts.org.
