New York City Musicians ‘Secure Major Not-for-Profit Off Broadway Raise’ As Local 802 Donates $25,000 To California Wildfire Relief

Musicians who play under the American Federation of Musicians (AFM) Local 802 Not-For-Profit Off Broadway Union agreement just won a 14% to 18% raise over the next three years of their new contract - plus other new benefits and perks. If you're a New York City Musician who wants to make your gigs Union too, contact www.local802AFM.org/hotline. On another front, AFM Local 802’s Emergency Relief Fund also just donated $25,000 to the Emergency Relief Fund of the Los Angeles Musicians' Union (AFM Local 47) to help Musicians in need in Los Angeles. If you're interested, you can also help through a contribution to the AFM Local 47 Musicians Relief Fund, which will help Local 47 Members suffering from illness or injury that prevents them from working or who lack the funds to pay for necessities such as food or rent.
