Trident Technical College (TTC) has been named an Apprenticeship Ambassador by the U.S. Department of Labor’s (USDOL) Office of Apprenticeship.  This recognition highlights a commitment to promoting and strengthening Registered Apprenticeship Programs nationwide.  The announcement comes as part of the USDOL’s National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) celebration and the introduction of 138 new Apprenticeship Ambassadors. TTC was part of the inaugural Ambassadors cohort, announced in July 2022, and served a two-year term. TTC and Apprenticeship Carolina were the only two Ambassadors in the first cohort representing South Carolina. Trident Technical College offers Apprenticeship Programs designed to meet the needs of youth and adults. The College's Division of Apprenticeships and Employer Partnerships collaborates with regional employers to provide paid on-the-job training and classroom instruction. Programs include pathways in Automotive Mechanics, Culinary Arts, Nursing and Health Care, Cyber-Security, Construction and more.
