Members of the American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME) across the State of Pennsylvania are knocking on doors to inform their community about the dangers of Project 2025, which the Union refers to as “900 pages of pure terror.”  The massive Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) effort seeks to warn Members that if Donald Trump wins the election and adopts Project 2025 proposals, Workers’ Rights will be targeted and undermined.  The Union is combining political education with workplace-focused organizing to combat catastrophic threats to our freedoms.  Public Sector Workers are more likely to vote than Workers in the Private Sector - and nearly half of Pennsylvania’s 750,000 Union Members are Public Employees.  Activating these Workers will be critical for swinging Pennsylvania toward Kamala Harris, helping her win the election and defeat the Anti-Worker agenda put forth in Project 2025. The Pennsylvania AFL-CIO and other Union Affiliates also have complementary GOTV efforts in the state.
