New Grant Opportunity Established For Registered Apprenticeship Programs In Kansas

Shayndel Jones at WIBW-TV reports from Topeka, Kansas that a new grant opportunity has been established for Registered Apprenticeship Programs in that State.  According to the Kansas Department of Commerce, the Kansas Office of Registered Apprenticeship announced a new $500,000 grant opportunity for established Registered Apprenticeship Programs that will range from $75,000 to $200,000 per awardee.  These funds will be awarded to assist existing programs with technical instructions, on-the-job training, staffing and additional Employees to implement and manage programs, marketing and outreach and other activities.
