The State Of Wisconsin’s Department Of Workforce Development Receives More Than $1 Million To Expand Its Apprenticeship & Pre-Apprenticeship Programs

Isabella Ferak at Channel3000.com reports the State of Wisconsin’s Department of Workforce Development has been awarded more than $1 million to expand Wisconsin's Registered Apprenticeship and Certified Pre-Apprenticeship Programs.  The grant will expand opportunities, strengthen the workforce and position the economy to succeed, Officials said.  The award is part of the U.S. Department of Labor's State Apprenticeship Expansion Formula funding, created under President Joe Biden's Investing in America agenda. With the funding, the State will - in part, create new opportunities for emerging-sector employers to participate in Apprenticeship and boost the connection between certified Pre-Apprenticeship and Registered Apprenticeship Programs.
