BroadwayWorld.com reports 17 Ushers at Brooklyn’s National Sawdust venue have Unionized with International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) Local 306.  The National Labor Relations Board Election showed more than 90% of the Workers voted to join IATSE.   National Sawdust is a Williamsburg, Brooklyn based non-profit cultural institution that commissions, produces and presents programming from multidisciplinary artists.  The New York Times has described National Sawdust as “the City’s most vital new music hall.”  Usher Marika Wolf said: “With the knowledge and support of a Union, I feel optimistic that we can work towards implementing positive changes that will enhance our roles and in turn quality of life.”
