Industrial Painting Pre-Apprenticeship Program Announced At Cleveland State Community College In Tennessee In Partnership With The International Union of Painters & Allied Trades

Chattanoogan.com reports the Cleveland State Community College Workforce Development Department has announced a new Industrial Painting Pre-Apprenticeship Program designed to prepare students for an advanced career in the Coating Industry.  Partnering with the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT), the four-week program is a combination of hands-on and on-line training.  Students will earn five nationally recognized industry certifications: OSHA 10; CPR; First Aid; Mobile Elevating Work Platforms; Fall Protection Awareness; and Lead Awareness.  Upon completion, the certifications can be applied to the IUPAT Registered Apprenticeship Program.
