New Two-Year, 4,000-Hour Apprenticeship Program ‘Required To Get A License For Applying Tattoo Body Art’ In The Massachusetts City Of Worcester

Henry Schwan at The Worcester Telegram & Gazette reports the City’s Board of Health has voted to approve new regulations to boost the safety of getting tattoos, piercings and other body art services in Worcester, Massachusetts.  The two-year, full-time Apprenticeship Program (which amounts to 4,000 work hours) includes at least 50 client procedures and it’s overseen by a Licensed Practitioner in Worcester in good standing.  Those presently offering such services say the new regulations will “help the community” and make the process “more safe.”
