Princeton University Postdocs ‘Successfully Vote To Unionize With The UAW’

Meghana Veldhuis at The Daily Princetonian reports Postdoctoral Researchers at Princeton University in New Jersey have won their Union. The Princeton University Postdocs and Scholars (PUPS) X (Twitter) account posted the results that led to Unionizing with the United Auto Workers (UAW).  According to PUPS, 484 Postdocs voted in favor of unionizing while 89 voted against.  Currently, Columbia University, Harvard and Brown University also have Postdoc Unions, as does Cornell University’s Weill Cornell Medical School.
