Six White Southern Governors ‘Band Together To Attack’ The United Auto Workers, ‘Specifically Denouncing The Successful VW Union Vote That Just Took Place In Chattanooga, Tennessee’

Mark Gruenberg at People’s World reports six White Republican Southern Governors banded together to blast and condemn the United Auto Workers’ (UAW) Organizing Drive in the Deep South - specifically the successful Unionization vote at the Volkswagen (VW) Plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  Governors Bill Lee of Tennessee, Kay Ivey of Alabama, Brian Kemp of Georgia, Tate Reeves of Mississippi, Henry McMaster of South Carolina and Greg Abbott of Texas issued their condemnation on the eve of the VW Plant’s three-day vote.  The Governors charge “Democratic Socialists” lead the UAW and allege Union Leaders are more interested in re-electing Democratic President Joe Biden than in standing up for Workers.
