The State Of New Hampshire Is Recruiting More Women & Minorities For The Highway Construction Trades

Hadley Barndollar at The New Hampshire Bulletin reports on the State of New Hampshire’s efforts to recruit more Woman and Minorities into the Highway Construction Trades.  The State’s Department of Transportation’s On-the-Job Training Program, which was designed by the Federal Highway Administration to promote the advancement of Women, Minorities and disadvantaged people in the Highway Construction Trades.  By cultivating a workforce representative of populations historically under-represented in the industry, the program supports Federal contract provisions that require equal opportunity on job sites.
