A Super-Majority Of Staff At The New York-Based Asian American Legal Defense And Education Fund ‘Declares Their Intent To Unionize’ With UAW Local 2325

(NEW YORK CITY) – United Auto Workers (UAW) Local 2325 has announced a super-majority of Staff from the New York-based Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund (AALDEF) has declared their intent to Unionize.

AALDEF was the first non-profit on the East Coast to address Civil Rights issues impacting Asian Americans locally and nationwide.

“The Union is essential in ensuring that AALDEF’s treatment of its Employees consistently reflects the same values that go into its Civil Rights and human rights work,” Julia Johnson, an AALDEF Staff Member, said.
