Emily Arseneau at KRDO-TV reports on the Canine Training Apprenticeship Program, which was first implemented at the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) in Florence, Colorado back in 2015, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBP).  Since the program was started, 63 incarcerated individuals have had the honor of working in the FPC Dog Program and 147 dogs have been successfully placed as working dogs.  Due to the high success rate of this program, FCC Florence expanded the program to the Federal Correctional Institution.
