Toyota’s Indiana Employees Meet With UAW Reps, Consider Possibility Of Unionizing

Nathan Goble and Ann Powell at WEHT-TV report on Toyota’s Vanderburgh County, Indiana Employees meeting with representatives of the United Auto Workers (UAW) as they consider the possibility of Unionizing.  This comes two weeks after the UAW posted a video laying out its plans to conduct an Organizing Campaign at Toyota.  Toyota recently raised its hourly wages to $34.80.  It was the third raise in less than a year.  The UAW said Toyota offered the pay jump to help fend off any Unionizing effort.
