SAG-AFTRA & AMPTP Reportedly Are In The 'Final Stretch' of ‘Making A Deal To End The More Than 100-Day Actors’ Strike’
Shari Hirsch at MovieWeb reports the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) are reportedly in the "final stretch" of making a deal to end the ongoing Actors' Strike that has lasted for more than 100 days now. In addition to discussing the role that Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays in the Entertainment Industry, SAG-AFTRA and AMPTP are still reportedly trying to find common ground regarding providing additional compensation for streaming shows. The AMPTP has been notably silent regarding the last two days of talks and what's expected next. Meanwhile, SAG-AFTRA’s pickets continued to be scheduled for Los Angeles and New York City at all major studios.
