The MidHudsonNews.com reports on the latest annual State of the Unions report from the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Labor and Urban Studies, which shows that in a significant and evolving trend, young people and college-educated Workers are at the forefront of a national surge in Union Organizing and Strikes.  The rise in Union Activity and favorable sentiments toward Unions among young Workers are indicative of a shift of a generation seeking better working conditions and wages.  If this trend continues, many more young Workers will turn to Unionization to harness the transformative power of collective action, the report said.
