Rochester Union Of Nurses And Allied Professionals-Represented Caregivers Employed At Rochester General Hold Two-Day Strike Over Wages & Staffing Levels

The Rochester Democrat & Chronicle & FingerLakes1.com report nearly 900 Nurses represented by the Rochester Union of Nurses and Allied Professionals at Rochester General Hospital began a two-day strike on Thursday following failed contract negotiations.  The Strike is set to run through 7 a.m. on Saturday (August 5th).  The Union is seeking a contract that includes a wage increase over the next five years to help retain experienced Staff.
