Chautauqua County Legislature Unanimously Approves Two Union Contracts With CSEA Unit 6300 & The CCSEA
Gregory Bacon at The Dunkirk Observer reports the Chautauqua County Legislature has approved a new contract with Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA) Unit 6300, which represents more than 700 County Workers, and with the CCSEA - which represents 118 Members, most of which are Dispatchers, Corrections Officers or other Employees of the County Jail. Both Unions had approved the contracts the week before. After the vote, CSEA’s Bonnie Peters thanked Lawmakers for their support. “I want to remind everyone that we work in this county, we spend our money in this county and that is important to all of Chautauqua County,” she said.
