Mentorship Offers Electricians A Safe Space For Growth & Retention

International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 48 and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA-IBEW) believes mentorship is vital for Union Apprentices to succeed in the Construction Industry and for companies to retain them - as well as to heighten the connection between all Apprentices and experienced leaders: “The mentor program was developed to create a higher comfort level with each individual that could become an avenue for ideas, concerns, suggestions and complaints.  By assigning a mentor to an Apprentice, the goal is to create and foster a one-on-one relationship to allow this to happen.”
