Barboncino In Crown Heights ‘Could Be New York City's First Unionized Pizza Joint’

Emily Rahhal at Patch reports Barboncino in Crown Heights could be New York City's first Unionized pizzeria after a "super-majority" of the Staff supported a Union Election.  Workers at the Franklin Avenue pizza joint - frequently lauded as one of Brooklyn's best - have petitioned the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) for a Union Election.  The restaurant employs 54 Workers - at least 30% of which had to show support, according to the NLRB.
