Training Director Talks Recruitment, Why It’s The ‘Best Time To Be An Electrician’

Alex Giles at WBTV in Charlotte, North Carolina reports on the Carolinas Electrical Training Institute, whose Director says now is the best time to become an Electrician.  Why?  Because the U.S. Chamber of Commerce reports there’s a massive shortage of skilled Workers in America, including Electricians.  And the U.S. Census Bureau reports nearly a fourth of our country’s manufacturing workforce is 55 or older.  But no matter where you live, if you are interested in becoming an Electrician, Google your International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local in your area to get information on their earn-while-you-learn Registered Apprenticeship Programs.
