State Attorney General Letitia James Rallies With Several Unions - Including The CWA & SEIU - Who All Call On Governor Hochul & State Legislators To Boost New York’s Minimum Wage In The New Budget

Denis Slattery at The New York Daily News reports State Attorney General Letitia James rallied with several Unions - including the Communications Workers of America and the Service Employees International Union, in New York City earlier this week, who all called on Governor Hochul and Legislators to include a hefty increase to New York’s Minimum Wage in the State Budget.  They called for the inclusion of the Raise the Wage Act, which would increase the Minimum Wage to $21.25 over the next three years - and then adjust it each year going forward for inflation.
