Alex Press at Jacobin reports German Director Uwe Boll was filming an NYPD drama in New York City last month.  On the third day of shooting, Unionized Crew Members say that his producer showed up with a gun.  Within a week, they were on Strike.  According to Press, through reviewed recordings, e-mails and text messages - the correspondence showed how an erratic producer and recalcitrant director, who allegedly responded to the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE)-represented Workers’ safety concerns with retaliation, led the Crew Members, facing terminations for exercising their legally protected right to organize, to go on Strike.
