CSEA Members Are ‘Fighting Back Against Out-Of-State Scammer Attacks’ - Union Members ‘Targeted With Anti-Union/Fraudulent Messages, Including Trying To Trick Members Out Of Leaving Their Union’

Out-of-state groups are continuing to target Civil Service Employee Association (CSEA) Members across New York State with Anti-Union, fraudulent messages.  These groups have been sending Union Members content that includes false information with scammers alluding to raises and savings and promote divisive issues to get you to click a link in an e-mail, fill out a postcard or scan a QR Code.  Once they have your information, there’s no telling where or how they will use it.  These scams are sophisticated and anyone can potentially be affected by them, but CSEA Members are also educating one another about the reality of these groups and how to spot a potential scam.  Go to this Labor News Story link to read CSEA Members tell their stories about their experiences with these groups and how they are staying Union Strong: Members fighting back against scammers (cseany.org)
