Alex Gatley at FreePressOKC.com reports a group of six Kaiser’s Grateful Bean Cafe Employees have Unionized - with the support and blessings of their management to become the only full-service restaurant to Unionize in the State of Oklahoma in recent years. By Unionizing, the Workers gained paid vacation, sick leave and insurance (medical, vision, dental). In addition, management extended the store’s hours during the week and intend to extend store hours to 9 p.m. during the Summer, which boosts the Workers’ hours, giving them more pay.
