25th Annual Women In Construction Week Takes Place March 5th Through March 11th, Will ‘Celebrate The Many Paths For Women To Succeed’ In The Industry
Construction Dive reports on the 25th annual Women in Construction (WIC) Week, which is slated to take place from March 5th through March 11th. Lauline Mitchell, who serves as President of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), is sky-high on the opportunities for Women in the Construction Industry, counting off the many job categories and the need to fill positions at all levels and the higher pay that comes with a career in construction. A series of events will be held around the country that celebrates the roles of Women in the industry - and this year’s WIC Week celebrates its anniversary with a theme of Many Paths. One Mission, which speaks to the goal of bringing more Women into the industry - at all levels.
