Saturday Night Live Post-Production Workers Authorize A Strike As Contract Negotiations On A First Contract Stall
Katie Kilkenny at The Hollywood Reporter reports on the recently-Unionized group of Post-Production Workers employed at Saturday Night Live who’ve authorized a Strike in an effort to expedite negotiations on their first contract, which they claim have stalled in early stages of talks. Earlier this month, the crew of around 20 part-time Film Editors, Editors, Assistant Editors and Media Managers voted to allow their Union to order a Strike - if necessary, amid the slow-moving contract talks, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
