Part-Time Faculty At The New School Are ‘Fed Up’ - The Workers, Who Make Up 87% Of Faculty At The New York City School, Are Striking Until “A Reasonable Contract” Is Reached

Elaine Velie at Hyperallergic reports on part-time Faculty at the New School in New York City, which encompasses the Parsons School of Design, who are on Strike.  They are Members of United Auto Workers Local 7902.  After three and a half months of failed negotiations led to the November 13th expiration of their contract, Union Members voted to authorize the Strike by a 97% margin.
