NYC Teachers Union ‘Warns Of Health Plan Consequences’ For Retirees

Katelyn Cordero and Madina Touré at Politico reports New York City’s Office of Labor Relations says it will have to enroll 250,000 eligible retired City Workers in the Medicare Advantage Health Plan and get rid of other plan options if the City Council does not change the administrative code to make way for the privatized plan.  The United Federation of Teachers says there would be consequences for Retirees and current City Workers.
