The New York State Department of Labor Is ‘Cracking Down’ On Unemployment Insurance Fraud, Seeks Repayments

JeanneTyler Moodee Lockman at WHAM-TV/ABC 13 reports on New York State Governor Kathy Hochul, who was in Syracuse to announce actions to crack down on unemployment insurance fraud after a New York State Department of Labor (DOL) investigation found such fraud accounted for more than $11 million in benefits payments in August.
