‘Restricting Access To Care For Injured Workers’ - New York State Workers’ Compensation Board Proposes New Rule

According to Ian Kea of the Injured Workers Pharmacy (IWP), injured Workers in New York State could see limited access to prescription services due to a newly proposed rule from the New York Workers' Compensation Board (NYWCB) that would require injured Workers to receive prescription care from in-network pharmacies selected by their insurance carrier and/or Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM).
