Amid alarms there is a national blood shortage, The Guardian reports on the problems facing the American Red Cross and its 3,000 Workers that a coalition of Unions represent.

The American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME), the Communications Workers of America (CWA), the United Steelworkers (USW), and the Teamsters are some of the Unions in a coalition of Labor Organizations that represent the American Red Cross Workers.
