Dear Sisters, Brothers, Labor Allies and Friends,

The Western New York AFL-CIO Area Labor Federation calls on all its Activists, Allies and Friends to participate in the Labor 2020 Campaign.

On November 3rd, 2020, we will be electing a new President, Vice President, and Congress.

We will also be electing a new Legislature in New York State, where all seats of the State Assembly and Senate are up for election.

It is not hyperbole to suggest that this election is the most important in many years, perhaps the most important of any in the history of our country.

We are confronted by a pandemic, a serious and deepening economic crisis and a mass movement against racial discrimination and violence against People of Color.

We must play role in this fight.

The Western New York Area Labor Federation is calling for a mass participation in this work.

We are asking for volunteers who are willing to contact their colleagues, neighbors and friends to support the candidates you see on the attached list.

This year we are going to concentrate our work by creative use of social media and phone calling.

If we can coordinate and centralize this work well, we hope to cut back on multiple phone calls to the same people.

We intend to spread our outreach much wider than any year in the past.

We believe that with a serious effort we can make a contribution to a better future for all American People.
