Better/Guaranteed Increased Wages for the Most Part in any Employment Industry is through the Negotiation of a Collective Bargaining Agreement. Of Course, that Process of Negotiation on Behalf of All Employees is by Virtue of the Employees Voting for Union Representation - a Process that Does Not Happen Overnight, but Does Happen with a Certain Core of Employees Eager to Meet with Union Organizers Outside of Work Hours with a Goal to Achieve Better Wages and to Include employee benefits such as healthcare and pension. That core of Employees and Union Organizers will do a 'Strength and Weakness Analysis" to Determine the Viability of Being Successful to Gain Majority Support of the Voting Employees. Again, a Goal to Achieve with Hard Work, Dedication and Commitment by 'Both' the Employees and the Union. There are Far Too Many Examples of Employees that Try to Negotiate on Their Own with Management, but Eventually Receive an Ultimatum: It's the Employer's 'Way' or the Highway. After all, Your 'Only' a 'Social Security Number' vs. Company Profit - 99% of the Time, Profit Prevails.
