So in Summary, I Call on Every American to 'Union Up' and Fight Big Company Labor Laws to be Equal and Justified in Giving Workers a Fair Salary Package. GO UNIONS!

Dan Boody said it better than I ever could have. I've run into People who believe that if the Workers in these Big Box Stores get a couple of 'extra dimes and nickels' they will have to 'pay more' for the 24-pack of toilet paper they buy. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has done a great job of 'convincing' people of this. The fact remains that the CEOs, CFOs, Presidents, Senior VPs and the Company - as a whole, could well absorb the cost without batting an eye. Great job, Dan!

NOT JUST BECAUSE ROBERT REICH WORKED AS THE CLINTON ADMINISTRATION's LABOR SECRETARY, BUT BECAUSE HE IS EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT WITH REGARD TO JOB MARKET ECONOMICS, AND HIS BELIEF IN SUPPORT OF WORKING-CLASS PEOPLE.

ABSOLUTELY, THESE COMPANIES CAN AFFORD TO ADOPT COLLECTIVE BARGAINING WITH A UNION ORGANIZATION, AND PAYING THEIR WORKERS MORE MONEY.

A GREAT EXAMPLE IS THE RETAIL CONGLOMERATE, WAL-MART:

On average, Wal-Mart pays their Workers $8.81 per hour, but they work less than 28 hours a week and henceforth DO NOT QUALIFY for benefits.

How ironic?

But for 2012, WAL-MART had earnings of $16 billion.

Furthermore, the wealth of the WALTON FAMILY now exceeds the wealth of the bottom 40% of American Families - combined, according to an analysis by the Economic Policy Institute.

So, yes WAL-MART shouldn't have fears of being Unionized.

Nor should McDonalds and many other PIGS AT THE TROUGH.

Imagine, for a mere 19 center per hour, WAL-MART could be paying its Workers the $9-per-hour Minimum Wage that President Obama spoke of during his State of the State Address!
