As much as politics isn't well received by most Working Class People, it is a must in 2012 to force themselves to listen very closely to the facts and myths of those candidates running for President of the United States, United States Senate, United States Congress and N.Y.S. Senate and Assembly. Many people try to decide which candidate is the 'lesser of two evils.' If Working Class/Blue-Collar People, students, graduates, Baby-Boomers and the traditional generations have followed any of the attacks on Unions in the States of Wisconsin, Ohio, New Jersey, Michigan, Indiana, Minnesota and others, I really hope they understand those attacks are primarily against the Middle Class. The erosion of the right to negotiate a Collective Bargaining Agreement, which sets Wages, Benefits and Working Conditions in a work environment, is a travesty. In short, we can NOT allow the 1%/Very Rich Blue-bloods defeat the overwhelming 99% Middle Class and those less fortunate. Please pay more attention to those candidates that believe in preserving Medicare and Social Security. Please support those that believe in Collective Bargaining and the right to join a Union, if they so choose. Historically, I've encouraged my Membership to support those that have truly supported our agenda and not just give lip service. The days of being taken for granted by elected officials is over. Historically, I've encouraged my Membership to support Democrat candidates - even though some of them need a good kick in the ass from time to time. Please take the time to listen and follow your Union Leadership, should you be a Member. Andupport the OCCUPY MOVEMENT and what they're doing for all of us.
