(WESTERN NEW YORK) – Time is running out for 850 former Teamsters Union Employees of Consolidated Freightways (CF) to collect un-cashed or undeliverable payments due them - stemming from the 2002 CF bankruptcy, Teamsters Representatives in Buffalo announced.

The vast majority of the 14,000 affected Teamster CF employees have already received money from the 2002 bankruptcy, but the Teamsters Union has been unable to locate another 850 former employees who are also entitled to payments.

As freight Teamsters, the Union is currently reaching out to current members via WNYLaborToday.com who may know former CF Teamsters.

Teamsters Local 375 Recording Secretary/Organizer Tony Vaccaro is asking anyone who knows an ex-employee or employees to please contact those individuals and let them know they may be entitled to a payment.  However, they must act quickly in order to claim money owed to them.

Any Teamster-Represented/CF Employee whose name appears on the direct link list is required to respond on or before July 30th, 2010 or they will forfeit money owed to them.  See list here.  If your name appears on the list, call either 414-223-0408, 414-223-0408, 414-223-0408 or 414-223-0408.

Any former CF Teamster is also urged to visit www.cfwy.com for further information.

Editor’s Note: For more information, WNYLaborToday.com asks those Teamsters-Represented Consolidated Freightways workers to contact Teamsters Local 375 Recording Secretary/Organizer Tony Vaccaro @ the Union’s Buffalo offices.  Vaccaro can be reached directly @ 716-836-4900, Extension 15.
