Now That The November Election Is Over, What Now?  What Must President Obama Focus On As He Heads Into A Second Term?  What Must Organized Labor Focus On?  What Do You Think?

Do not sit back and proclaim, "We Won!", and wait two years for the next Election. Form Committees to continue to analyze what worked in the 11-6-12 Elections and what didn't. Build from that standpoint. Some suggestions: Each Union needs to review their own Membership to determine who isn't Registered and reach out to them in a Kind and Professional Manner. Member-to-Member Door-Knocking to GOTV is the most effective. Offer Union Members/Family Members Workshops on Basic Methods/Procedures to more effectively do DOOR-TO-DOOR' Visits prior to Elections. Other Activities: Phone Banking, Literature Drops and Sign-Postings. Keep a 'Score Card' on Elected Officials and their Voting Activity, Month to Month, to review at Committees Meetings. And, of course, Social Network as your Media Outlet. THESE ARE JUST A FEW SUGGESTIONS. Thanks.
